HOW HOWのオーナー、ゆうと申します。

このお店のはじまりは、

ある日、こどもを授かり、母になったことでした。

愛しいこどもとともに、自然の美しさに触れながら暮らす中で、

自分自身、そしてこどもたちの感性が、

日々目にしたり、触れたりするものや体験の積み重ねによって、

少しずつ育まれていくことを実感するようになりました。

このお店に並ぶのは、

私自身が少しずつ集めてきた、

“こどもとおとなの、あいだにあるものたち。”

ヴィンテージのものや、アーティストの手から生まれたもの。

誰かの時間を経てきたものや、これから時間を重ねていくもの。

それぞれに美しさと物語があり、触れるたびにわくわくします。

それらは、
身にまとうものだったり、
夢中になってあそぶものだったり、
暮らしをしつらえるものだったり。

心を動かすアートや、
新しい世界をひらく本だったりもします。

Hello, and welcome.

My name is Yu, the founder of HOW HOW.

This shop began when I became a mother.

As I spent my days with my beloved child, surrounded by the beauty of nature, I came to realize how our sensibilities—both my own and those of our children—are gently shaped by the things we see, touch, and experience every day.

The pieces you will find here are things I have collected little by little over time—

objects that exist somewhere between childhood and adulthood.

Vintage treasures, works created by artists’ hands, objects that have already lived through someone’s story, and others that are only just beginning theirs.

Each carries its own beauty and narrative, bringing a sense of wonder every time it is encountered.

Some are things to wear.
Some invite us to play.
Some help us create a home.
Others move us through art,
or open new worlds through books.
